Immaculate and almost invisible when in place

As all other Brusso products I've bought, these ball catches come to very high accuracy and precision.

Installing them called for quite some care. They are tiny, need precise alignment, and quite exact positioning. The installation leaflet by Brusso was very helpful, but I am glad doing a few tests.

These ball catches come in imperial dimensions. After testing with metric drill bits, I think one is well served using a 1/4".

I am very happy with how they are next to invisible, allow for smooth opening and closing of the doors of the cabinet they are installed in, yet keep the doors closed.

Due to properties of wood to not always stay completely flat, I think I will in future projects use two sets of these ball catches per door.

1/4” bullet latch

This latch was to be used as a latch in a classic car glove box but regretfully it is much too small to work adequately. I should have not ordered it.

Great Hinges but….

Hinges are great. Solid and sweet movement with no wiggle. But..the screw are terrible. They snap easy when installing. I used callipers to measure exact width of barrel up and down the taper as well as the threads. Used the proper bit and made a pilot hole for the barrel and still broke 4 screws

Quality Product

Like every Brusso Hardware product I have used, this door catch is a quality product.

BC-263 Ball Catch

These are beautiful, and, if set just right, work fine. However it is difficult to get them just right. However a modification based on a small flange at the top end might allow for easier installation.
